Rejection is God’s Redirection
đź“– Scripture:
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” – Psalm 118:22 (NIV)
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” – John 15:18 (NIV)
🙌🏻 Devotional:
Rejection is something we all face, but it doesn’t define us. The Bible reminds us that even Jesus was rejected — by people, by leaders, even by those closest to Him. Yet that rejection was part of God’s greater plan, turning the “stone the builders rejected” into the cornerstone of salvation.
In John 15:18, Jesus reminds us that rejection from the world is not a surprise — it’s a reflection of how the world treated Him. When you face rejection, remember: you’re not alone, and it doesn’t mean you’re unworthy. Instead, it’s often a sign that you belong to Him. What people reject, God redeems.

🙏🏻 Prayer:
Father, I thank You that my worth is not determined by the acceptance of others but by Your love and truth. When I face rejection, remind me that Jesus Himself was rejected, yet through that rejection came the greatest victory. Heal the wounds in my heart, and teach me to see rejection as redirection into Your perfect will. Help me walk with courage, knowing I am chosen and loved in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
