Believing in the Power of Prayer with Total Faith

By: Sara Singh

My phone rang at 9 p.m. I was wrapping up for the evening and when I realized it was one of my elderly clients that had called, I returned his call. He told me that his wife fell in the bathtub, and she has a messed-up knee. He went on to explain that she can put her weight on her leg, and she can walk some, but it is very painful. The doctor told his wife to just rest and ice the knee. He was calling to let me know that it is best if our cleaning crew didn’t come to clean their house the next day since his wife would be resting. I told him that I understood his request and asked for his permission to pray.

I prayed with them both and asked the client and his wife to put their hands on her knee. We prayed with total Faith that her knee would be healed in the name of Jesus. That all bones, muscles, ligaments, and blood vessels would align up according to HIS will.

The next day Maria called and left a beautiful message on my voicemail to let me know that she woke up with no pain in her knee. She was praising God for his miraculous healing.

We need to remember that we serve a mighty God. He heals and performs miracles like HE did 2000 years ago. When we believe with total Faith that HE will heal and perform a miracle in our situation, it is done in the name of Jesus.

What situation is weighing heavy on your mind? Are you praying with total Faith to receive God’s miracle in your life? Are you putting God’s healing hands on your situation, achy body, heavy heart, broken heart or whatever your elephant may be. Are you believing with full Faith that God is going to pave the way to work it out.

Romans 8:28 – And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Matthew 21:22 – “And whatever you ask in prayer you will receive, if you have Faith”. This scripture reassures us that God will listen to our cries. Having faith in God means that we trust him fully with all our physical, spiritual, emotional, financial, and relational needs. That HE will be with us, HE will answer our prayers and will provide peace. Deuteronomy 31:6 – He will never leave us nor forsake us.

John 7:38 – Whoever believes in me, as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.

Knowing that God is always with us, and he cares for us gives me so much peace. Today, I pray that whoever reads this article will put all their trust in the Lord and have a child like faith to receive total healing in your situation. God loves you and HE cares for you!
